It’s official!

 

A few of our board members along with about 50 other players participated in the “SOFT OPENING “ of the Buenaventura Golf Course yesterday. At present, there are 14 holes available for play. Kemper Sports has done an amazing job getting the course back into playing conditions after a lot of mud was deposited throughout the course along with 2 greens being destroyed.

There are temporary office and restrooms in the parking lot and new golf carts on site. Online signups for tee times are now open with first day of play being Friday, May 2nd. Opening day is booked but there are available times coming online daily.

The Buenaventura Women’s Golf Club is back on schedule with their usual Wednesday morning tee times. Anyone interested can check with Norma Brownlow at macduff4me@yahoo.com
 

Hope you all get a chance to play Buena over the next few months.
 

The Golf Advisory Board is working with the city and Kemper to get more holes open with temporary greens. I will keep you posted.

The next thing on the agenda is the replacement of the temporary trailers at Olivas Links. This is projected to be completed mid summer. Watch for activity in the parking lot area.
