Olivas  Links  Women's  Golf   Club

Established in 1977, OLWGC members play on Thursday mornings at the Olivas Links Golf Course, a beautiful golf course nestled along the coastline in Ventura, CA.

 

We welcome guests and encourage new membership. New members must be 18 yrs of age, and have an established index to compete in regular weekly games and major club tournaments.  Annual membership averages 70 members. We hold weekly tournaments and each weekly tournament is a different game. We use a blind draw for assigning tee times, to assure that you meet and play with different ladies in the club each week. In addition, we hold special tournaments throughout the year, such as our Club Championships, President's Cup, Turkey Shoot, and Ham Shoot. We are run by a volunteer Board of Directors and encourage all members to volunteer their time and talents to the club.

 

OLWGC is a member of the Women's Public Links Golf Association(WPLGA). WPLGA promotes amateur golf socialability, provides uniform handicapping in accordance with the GHIN Handicap system, provides Association Play Days, as well as Team Play and Championship Tournaments. We abide by the USGA Rules of Golf.

Out of area guests of members may play at the end of the field with guest as space permits. Possibly new members may request to play.
