Thank you Donna Johnson, Stacy Hatfield & Cheryl Holt for speaking at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. We couldn’t have done it without the help and support from Norma and her husband Lyn, Charlotte B, Liz B, Sheree F, Melissa H, Terri S, and Linda S. in attendance. We all came to the Ventura City Council on Tuesday evening in support in keeping monies in Ventura by having two golf courses open and in good condition. Councilman Duran will champion our cause, and continue to rally the entire City Council to get golfer’s monies to stay in our City by giving our golf courses the same CARE and FUNDING that skateboard parks, pickle ball courts, hiking trails, Surfer’s Point, Olivas Adobe, the Pier, etc. are receiving. Now we wait for the golf advisory board to go into action.
